Love Shopping Direct is experiencing unprecedented growth across it’s HVAC and Lighting channels. This has led to an amazing opportunity to further increase the size and scope of the Ecommerce department as we continue to establish the business as the leading provider of modern home comforts. 

With the ongoing support of the UK’s largest buying groups and increased recognition within the sector, Love Shopping Direct is on a rocket ship trajectory. This includes relocating to a brand-new purpose-built Head Office and Distribution Centre in Walsall, West Midlands in 2022. 

To join us on this exciting journey, we are looking for an experienced and successful Acquisitions Manager to own digital marketing across our ecommerce platforms. You will be responsible for growing our reach profitably across Paid, Social, Email, Affiliates, Display, PR, and mass media. Owning a marketing budget in excess of £1.5m to achieve acquisition of new customers, while at the same time establishing CRM to drive retention. You will be creative in your leadership, communicating effectively with internal and external teams on the marketing plan, which you will own. Experience in leading an inhouse marketing team and a proven track record in delivering profitable results essential.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Managing an inhouse team and external agencies 
  • PnL management, with strong data analytical skills 
  • Strong communicational skills 
  • Strong background in Ecommerce marketing and customer acquisition 
  • Strong leadership skills and team delegation 
  • Stakeholder management experience 
  • Can work to pressing deadlines and happy to be accountable for performance results 
  • Can make an impact in HVAC, Lighting and Home Automation sectors 
  • B2C, D2C and B2B marketing/customer acquisition experience 

Additional desirable experience 

  • Can write HTML and CSS 
  • Google Analytics and MS Office experience 
  • Shopify platform experience 
  • CRM experience 
  • Developing PR / Outreach from a static start 
  • Launched a social media platform with high levels of customer engagement and reach.  
  • International digital marketing experience
